Indo-MIM has begun construction in April '09 on a new 2,800 sq.meters investment casting facility in Tirupati, India. The company, Gowri Precision Investment Castings, will process a wide variety of air melt alloy and stainless steels with product weights up to the 2 Kg range. Mr. Vijay Kumar, VP Operations for the facility indicated Gowri would be operational by October of 2009. He also stated that the facility will be state-of-the-art and equipped with the latest imported machinery to manufacture castings for high performance applications. Gowri will be supported by Indo-MIM’s world-class engineering, tooling and finishing operations.
